Amanda Mills is a workforce development leader, education advocate, and Montana mother of four committed to expanding opportunity for students across the state. She brings extensive experience in K-12 education, Career and Technical Education (CTE), registered apprenticeship programs, and industry-driven models that connect education to high-demand careers.

Amanda currently oversees multiple state-approved apprenticeship and training programs, including plumbing, HVAC, heavy equipment operation, and pre-apprenticeship pathways. She has led efforts to secure and maintain national accreditation, obtain state and federal program approvals, and build innovative training partnerships that strengthen Montana's skilled trades pipeline.

With a strong background in curriculum development, compliance, and program expansion, Amanda is passionate about ensuring students have access to diverse postsecondary pathways, whether that leads to college, the military, entrepreneurship, or the skilled trades. She believes deeply in practical, hands-on learning and elevating the dignity and value of technical careers.

A proud Montanan, Amanda and her family live in the Gallatin Valley, where she balances her professional work with raising four children and staying actively involved in her local community. Her perspective as both an education leader and a parent informs her commitment to policies that serve all Montana students.
